McCain’s Surprise Trip to Baghdad

While it appears that the in-fighting and overall calamity of the Democratic party will continue for the upcoming days and weeks, our candidate made a surprise trip to Baghdad, Iraq (his original plans did not include Baghdad).

Here is another sign of leadership and honor, that is in stark contrast to the Democratic side-show that is now in town.

While it is definitely an advantage that Sen. McCain can travel abroad like this to the world’s hotspots while the other two are throwing punches at each other, the flipside is that all the media is focused on that boxing match and Sen. McCain possibly won’t get the kind of coverage of his travels that he’d like.

We, as bloggers, need to take the lead when the MSM does not on matters like this. If they’re going to write and talk about the Democratic side show, we need to follow up with the good work Senator McCain is doing abroad.
