McCain Democrats, Cont.

Remember around the time of the Iowa Caucuses when all of the elated pundits on cable news were crowing about how giddy Democratic voters were over the embarrassment of riches they had with three great presidential candidates? If the poll numbers here are at all valid, and hold (at least to a certain extent) into November, this analysis will have been either entirely erroneous and wishful or no longer true. The procession of poll data we’ve seen over the past few weeks has indicated that Barack Obama the man is starting to replace Barack Obama the myth, and it hasn’t been pretty.
And on a side note, wasn’t it Sen. McCain who was supposed to have trouble getting support from members of his own party?

It sure looks like the bloom is off the Obama rose.

Not at all the transcendant and messianic candidate and politician we were told he was, he seems to be a typical politician who is very good at looking into the teleprompter and delivering a verry pleasant speech.
