It appears McCain is “tolerating” irresponsible homeowners.

The mortgage plan that Mr. McCain unveiled — which his advisers said was designed for needy homeowners, and not financial institutions — would apply to people who were falling behind on payments on their primary residences

What the hell? what about us homeowners who haven’t missed a payment in twenty years because we’ve gone without SUVs and cigarettes and plasma TVs and unlimited cell phone plans? Where’s our governmental “thank you very much”?

So if I STOP making mortgage payments now, will I be eligible for sweet government-backed loans at lower than market rates too?

God this sucks. These politicians suck. They’re bailing out billionaires and idiots, and leaving the REST of us to pay the tab.

In other words, it’s business as usual.
