Obama’s Gun Reversal

Obama’s record on gun control is clear - he’s for it. He’s supported handgun bans, and even answered a questionaire stating he would support banning the manufacture, sale and possession of handguns. Now that he is running for president, and the Supreme Court struck down the DC gun ban, Senator Obama has changed his mind saying that, “The second ammendment means something”. The following clip from Hot Air gives his most recent position on gun control.
From Yahoo/Politico
Barack Obama’s presidential campaign has worked to assure uneasy gun owners that he believes the Constitution protects their rights and that he doesn’t want to take away their guns.
But before he became a national political figure, he sat on the board of a Chicago-based foundation that doled out at least nine grants totaling nearly $2.7 million to groups that advocated the opposite positions. The foundation funded legal scholarship advancing the theory that the Second Amendment does not protect individual gun owners’ rights, as well as two groups that advocated handgun bans. And it paid to support a book called “Every Handgun Is Aimed at You: The Case for Banning Handguns.”

If Obama Wins…
Things to count on if Obama Wins, in addition to a leftest lean on gun control.
-A progressive tax system that soaks the rich and dries up investment
-A windfall profits tax on oil companies that further off shores production and increases our balance of trade deficit.
-A rougher time ahead for US auto stocks, given his past attacks on these companies and investor expectations.
-A preemptive strike on Iran by Israel prior to his inauguration.
-Higher food prices as he pushes for renewable energy
-Coalition of The Willing troops withdrawing rapidly from Iraq & Afghanistan ahead of his promised cut and run.
-Liberal judge appointments leading to higher tort costs, lower competitiveness and fewer US jobs.
-Weakening of NAFTA
-An illegal alien influx into America given his stated policy to not send back the 12,000,000 illegal’s here.
-The signing of the Kyoto Accord and the loss of 5% GDP.
-Restrictive gun legislation.
-An economy strangling universal health care program.
-Federal approval of Medical Marijuana, despite the tremendous abuse of that plan in California.

I’m looking forward to the NRA ads, The NRA has a close look at Obama’s voting records. These ads will help remind American why Obama’s recent change of view is nothing more than him begging for our votes. If the change of heart is sincere great. But, he might immediately change back to his other view as soon as elected.
McCains record on guns is very impressive, Gun owners understand real clearly the difference between the two candidates. These ads will help remind gun owners why the GOP is a better choice for them.
Mike Huckabee and Ron Paul had alot of supporters on this issue that need to remind their supporters that McCain is clearly a better choice on this issue and need to get out there and support McCain in November. Supreme court judges appointed by the next president, must be conservatives that will defend freedom and the 2nd Amendment and fight the U.N or foreign governments from imposing international laws that attempt to take peoples guns

Blah blah blah… guns guns guns.
How exactly is that going to make people afford a tank of gas or afford to put food on their table???
Please please please go on and make guns an issue in this election. People will turn their back on those shouting about Obama and guns in droves.

The change Obama speaks of is something to greatly fear as it includes complete eradication of legal firearms ownership in the US which we all know as the prequal to oppression and tyranny.
Our founding fathers are rolling in their graves!
